A Jelly Sandwich Good Enough to Eat

Glitter Sandwich w/ OPI Too Hot To Hold 'Em and Servin' Up Sparkle

I just can't get enough of jelly glitter sandwich, especially when removing glitters is no long a pain in the behind (more of that later)!

For this mani I did one coat of OPI Too Hot To Hold 'Em, one coat of OPI Servin' Up Sparkle, and then another coat of THTHE and gave the mani some shine with SV top coat. Love how squishy and glassy this looks! Also love how the layering creates some sort of blue flash from the glitters, so gorgeous!

You may have heard about the latest glitter removal method with PVA glue, but if you haven't, Pretty Purple Polish did an excellent post on everything you need to know here. Personally, this method is by far the easiest way to remove those stubborn glitters! The first time I've tried it, I used base coat before applying the PVA glue to protect my nails, but when I tried to remove my mani, I really needed to push hard with my metal cuticle stick to get the layers off my nails. So I tried it without base coat the next time, and my mani came it almost too easily! I just simply used my fingers to get underneath the polish layers, and voila! The polish coat just peeled right off in one piece! However, just because the layers come off so easily doesn't mean the staying power is inferior. In fact, I wore my glitter mani for three days with the PVA glue method and experienced no chipping or tip wear! How awesome is that! I have steered away from getting many Indies because a lot of them are glitter polish, but now with this new found removal method, I will be wearing A LOT more glitters!

So have you tried the PVA glue method yet? How do you find it compared to the other glitter removal methods?

HARE Dog Day Dream

HARE Dog Day Dream - two coats with SV top coat

Another HARE beauty with a strange name for you today, Dog Day Dream! A berry jelly mixed with red, magenta and purple glitters, Dog Day Dream is simple yet stunning! Opaque in two coats, its formula is perfection. I topped it off with a layer of SV top coat which gives the mani a smooth and shiny finish.

Do you enjoy HARE polish as much as I do? I can't wait for Nikole to come up with more pretties!

Swatch Spam - Jade Holos!

Today I bring you a swatch spam of Jade Holos! For those of you who don't know, Jade is a Brazilian polish brand that does amazing linear holos! So let's get straight to it shall we?

Mystic Gold. This is why I never wear yellow tone polish, it looks horrendous on me, but I'm sure it will  suit people with fairer skintone.

Psicodelica, a whitish silver holo that looks amazing on its own, and I imagine it could work as a holo topcoat too!

Seducao Rosa, a delicate light pink holo that is just lovely!

Vermelho Surreal, a red linear holo with a hint of coral flash. Not your true-sometimes-in-your-face red holo, I like it :)

Energy, a teal holo in the vain of China Glaze DV8. There aren't a lot of teal/green holos out there, so this one is a keeper!

Fascinio Violeta, a lilac purple with a very strong linear holo effect.

Magia Negra, a black jelly holo that appears dark grey in some light setting.

Deja Vu, a bubblegum pink holo that looks very bright and fun to wear!

Hypnose is a light blue holo that would suit girls with a cooler skintone.

I did two coats (and no topcoat) with each of the swatch above. Every polish is a dream to apply, and the prismatic effect is strong with every one of them! If you love holo polish and haven't got any of the Jades, I suggest you to grab them now!

This is my very first swatch spam, I hope I did a satisfactory job! My favorites out of these Jades would be Energy, Seducao Rosa, and surprisingly, Psicodelica! Which ones are your favorite?

Enchanted Polish - Sugar Spree

Enchanted Polish Sugar Spree - two coats with top coat

Every so often, you come across a polish that is truly mesmerizing, and that is exactly how I feel after I tried on Enchanted Polish Sugar Spree. A berry/magenta scattered holo, I am absolutely captivated by its strong blue undertone and the red shimmers. Too often a holo polish can look dull and boring under dim light, but not Sugar Spree! Sugar Spree is like a magenta holo version of China Glaze Ruby Pumps, as the red shimmers come out and play under dim light. Under bright light though, the prismatic effect shines and sparkles, so you will never get tired of adoring your nails regardless of the light setting!

A crappy iPhone photo taken under dim light to show you the red shimmers!

Thank you Chelsea for creating such an awesome polish! I feel honored to own Sugar Spree! If you are interested in purchasing Enchanted Polish, you may check out Chelsea's Etsy shop or her stocklist, Llarowe.

HARE Polish - Twilight Savings

HARE Polish Twilight Savings - three coats with SV top coat

What do you get when you put silver square glitters, periwinkle jelly base, and magenta shimmers together? An awesome polish in HARE Twilight Savings! The shimmers in my photos look more silver, but trust me they are magenta in real life! Application is flawless, and a coat of top coat will give you a smooth, glossy finish. It is safe to say I am a fan of HARE Polish! Do you like it as much as I do?

My Favorite Polish, Stamped!

Stamping with Catrice Dirty Berry
I wanted to do some stamping, so what's better than pulling out one of my favorite polishes ever and use it as a base? I choose a French tip pattern to stamp with, and I am quite glad with the result! I think this is my best stamping effort so far! *shameless*

What I used for this mani:
Base: Catrice Dirty Berry
Stamping polish: Kleancolor Metallic Sapphire
Stamping plate: QA 13

I can't help but to show you again how pretty Dirty Berry is. The holo shimmer, the soft burple color, what's not to love?

Check out the subtle holo shimmer!

HARE Polish - Magic Mist

Hare Polish Haul!

My HARE Polish has finally arrived! I was first attracted to HARE because of its cute bunny label, so when she announced her latest pre-order in June, I stayed up till 7am to wait for her to open shop!

HARE Polish - Magic Mist, two coats with SV top coat
Apart the those adorable labels, HARE Polish is awfully cute too! I immediately tried on Magic Mist, a periwinkle jelly base packed with magenta, coral red, royal blue and purple glitters. I love how the polish is opaque in two coats, and yet still maintain the squishy jelly look!

If you like HARE Polish as much as I do, you can now purchase them via Llawore or from Nikole's Etsy Shop. I cannot wait to show you the other Hare polish, so stayed tune! :)
